詢價(inquiry)

首先,在英文信件格式上,如果對方是從未交易過的對象,第一段可以先簡單介紹自己,再提出詢價的意圖。

Hi, my name is (name) and I'm reaching out from (company name). I'm writing this email to request a price quote for the following items.
你好,我是(公司名)的(姓名)。寫這封郵件的目的是想詢問下列品項的價格。

表達對產品有購買意願時,可以用be interested in…(對…有興趣),而用request a quote表示「有報價需求」。

We are interested in your (product name) and would like to request a quote.
我們對(產品名)有興趣,希望貴公司報價。

其它類似的表達法還有:

I would be interested to know the price of (model number).
我想詢問關於(型號)的價格。
Could you send me a quote for (product name/model number)?
請問你是否可以給我一份(產品名或型號)的報價?
(Or: Could you please provide me with a quote for…?)

希望對方以指定貿易條件(如:FOB, C&F, Ex Works…)報價時則可以說成:

Could you quote us on (term of trade) basis?
可否請你報給我(貿易條件)的價格?

如果希望對方在特定時間內提供報價的話,可以用:

I would be grateful if you could send me the offer before (date). I look forward to hearing from you.
如果您能在(日期)前發給我報價,我會非常感謝。期待你的回覆。

報價(quotation/offer)

提供客戶報價時,常用句型有:We are pleased to provide you with …(表示「我們很樂意提供…」),以及I'm enclosing/sending …(表示「 隨信附上…」)。

We are pleased to provide you with the information that you have requested.
很榮幸為您提供您需求的資訊。
I'm enclosing our latest catalog along with a complete price list.
茲附上我們最新的目錄及完整價格表。
(Or: Enclosed are our latest catalog and a complete price list for your reference.)

Thank you for your interest in our products.

直接針對被詢問產品回答單價(unit price)及起訂量(MOQ)時,可以說成:

The unit price we are offering for (model number) is ($___) with a minimum order quantity of (quantity) units.
(型號)的單價為(金額),起訂量為(數量)個。

議價(price negotiation/counter-offer)

議價時講求的是雙方在購買價格上達成共識,因此可以先提出以下疑問:

Is there any flexibility on the price?
價格還有空間嗎?
(Or: Do you have any flexibility on the price?)
Do you offer bulk discounts?
訂量大的話有折扣嗎?

若有具體期待的價格或折扣,可以用下列句型表達:

We are hoping that you would be able to offer us a discount of (percentage).
我們希望您可以提供(百分比)的折扣。
(Or: We would like to request a discount of (percentage).

此時若一併提出相應的條件,會比較容易說服供應商。例如:

If you agree to this price, we will place large orders with you.
若這個價格你同意的話,我們會下大量訂單。

相反地,若你是在賣方角度,希望有條件地接受議價時,可以使用下列說法:

We can offer you the price of ($___) per unit if you agree to order a minimum quantity of (quantity) units per month.
如果貴公司同意每個月最少訂購(數量)個的話,價格上我們可以做到(金額)。
If you place an order for (quantity) units, we'll give you an additional (percentage) discount.
如果貴公司訂(數量)個,我們會再多給(百分比)的折扣。
