2. bottom line至為關鍵重要的因素

The meeting has been going on for hours. There is still no consensus between both sides. I can't help but begin to wonder what their bottom line is.
這個會議已經持續了好幾個小時，但雙方依然沒有任何共識。我不禁開始好奇到底對方最重視的關鍵因素是甚麼。

3. open door policy自由開放的溝通政策

這個詞的來源指的是早期國家之間的自由開放貿易政策，後來引申到現代的職場上。以往較傳統的主管辦公室總是大門深鎖，要與上級溝通似乎不是件容易且異常沉重的事，但採用open door policy的辦公室就是讓大門敞開，開放與員工的溝通管道，營造一個友善開明的工作關係。

Our new manager obviously is in favor of an open door policy. He welcomes every staff member to stop by his office anytime, even just for a cup of coffee.
